Today the school terrace was officially inaugurated in the “Vida y esperanza” community, a project that began at the end of 2019, as part of the chosen initiatives of the 25th anniversary of Banyan Tree.

We have the presence of two directors of the hotel who spent the time of recess with the children, while enjoying a tasty snack.

It was also agreed, the commitment they have to take care and keep the tables clean, as well as the terrace at the end of their activities.

The kids sang a song about the trees and the enviroment.

Also, they made some posters where they explain the imprtance of the trees in the world.

Meet the new CSR initiative

“Ponte las pilas, no las tires” in reference to avoiding throwing batteries into the trash.

All departments of Banyan Tree Mayakoba must bring empty batteries to the CSR department.

This will prevent that the batteries of sent to the landfill. CSR will take care of your correct final destination.

Here we collect the empty batteries untill the collector comes.
